Timothy L. Perryman

Our Pastor

Reverend Timothy L. Perryman was born in Montgomery, AL to Willie and Wilma Perryman. He was reared in Birmingham, AL, and received his formal education in the Birmingham public school system. He graduated from J.H. Phillips High School and went on to continue his education at the RETS Electronic Institute in Birmingham, AL. He graduated from RETS with a degree in Applied Science in Electronics Engineering. Reverend Perryman united in holy matrimony with the former Katherine L. Johnson and they became one in Christ. They are blessed with three beautiful daughters – Katrina Lee, Timeka and Natalie Perryman, a son-in-law, Javorius Lee, two beautiful granddaughters - Carmen Natalya and Morgan Camille Perryman and two adorable grandsons, Jaxson Duwane Lee and Jaydon Denver Lee. Reverend Perryman furthered his Christian education by attending American Bible College and Huntsville Bible College where he received an Associate’s Degree in Pastoral Ministry. Currently, Reverend Perryman is pursuing a Bachelor’s of Theology Degree with an emphasis in Pastoral Ministry and Christian Education from Huntsville Bible College. In 1990, Reverend Perryman co-founded LSI Research, an Information Technology (IT) systems integration business, where he currently serves as President. On a business level Reverend Perryman has received the Small Business of the year award in 2006 from the North Alabama African American Chamber of Commerce (NAAACC). Reverend Perryman’s religious and civic organization involvement includes membership in the Masonic Jachanina Lodge No. 147, the NAACP, the National Coalition of 100 Black Men of America, the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce, and the NAAACC and Member - Moulton Rotary Club. In June 2013, Reverend Perryman was called to Pastor the Freeman Tabernacle Missionary Baptist (FTMB) Church in Moulton, AL. Under his leadership the following have occurred:

FTMB Membership Growth
  • FTMB membership has increased by 42 members of which 22 were baptized
  • FTMB Church Improvements Projects/Accomplishments
  • Security surveillance cameras with video monitoring installed for protection and safety of the congregation
  • TV monitors installed in the sanctuary to aid in the spiritual growth and education of the congregation
  • Phase 1 - Parking Lot Project completed, includes the removal of Trees from rear of FTMB
  • Phase 2 - Parking Lot Paving completed, includes the stripping of parking slots for ~50 vehicles
  • Phase 2 – Additional lighting for the parking lot completed -- new lighting, power and poles for the parking lot
  • Purchased and installed ‘new’ Gutter System
  • Purchased and installed ‘new’ Floor Tiles (6 restrooms)
  • Purchased ‘new’ Choir Robes (~25)
  • Increased Handicap parking spaces (~8)
